Women and Doctors

I've noticed that women really tend to light up when they learn that a potential date is a doctor. I mean I can understand that they make a lot of money have power and what not. But many other jobs have that. So what is it specifically about a doctor that makes women swoon and attracted to a guy.

Since we're sharing our types....I tend to prefer guys in the military or law enforcement.

Funny, lifers are as bad as Dr's with there dedication to the job. Dr.'s might work 100 hour weeks, but they come home at night, and the dead guy that made a bad day . . he was trying to "save" him . . (-: Whole different dynamic than the dead guys in the military
I'm a civilian DoD employee and there's a chance that I could be put in harm's way too. Just as it has been in the news that State Dept employees are being compelled to go to Iraq, so are DoD employees, yet we aren't making as big a fuss about it as the State folks are.

Wrong board for me to say exactly what I think of them and there whining. (-: I am a pit bull when it comes to defending our guys, and they are making a lot less money than those state people are. It does go with the turf however for them too, so I say step up or quit and make room for someone else willing to do what it takes.
So far my overseas assignments have been in other parts of the world, but those of us sent to Iraq go to the Green Zone.
The green zone is not exactly a vacation spot. (-: Driving a truck around town without a few trained guns around is no fun at all however, great way to make a movie and lose your head. (-:
My I ask more or less what you do? We always had a few contract
I just do support work and have none of the training that would be necessary to be more in harm's way, so I'll always work in an environment where there are others protecting me. 99% of my time is spent in the DC area though, so I'm totally safe most of the time (well, except for the fact that DC has the highest crime rate in the country! ;) ). I don't want you thinking I'm always off running around overseas in danger....that's not the nature of my job, but we can be sent to dangerous locations.
Hmmm DC . . . low life's, liars, perverts, con men and crooks . . .and that is just the congress in the good areas
