I just met a guy off the internet who I actually went to school with but never really talked to until now (I'm 23). He was really cute on his personal ad, but it turns out he's not nearly as attractive in person. It's really amazing how different he looked in person. I'm used to dating guys who I find VERY attractive. I am not a superficial person, but it just happens that way. Anyway, I had a date with this guy and we clicked very well. We talked for a really long time and I started to like him a lot.
In your experience, is it possible to have a good relationship with someone that you're really not attracted to that much but who you get along with really well and have a lot in common? I'm pretty picky and I haven't had a boyfriend in a very long time because I don't want to settle for less. This guy is really nice and is everything I'm looking for aside from not being really attractive. What should I do?

I think that for women, a lot of times attraction can grow the more you get to know someone.
Yes.
When I met my ex, I thought he was flat-out ugly. But he persisted in taking me out and I having no other options went out with him. He kept on pursuing me for weeks and though I thought he was a nice guy, the attraction was not there but I kept going out with him cause it wsa something to do. Well after a month of so, I began to get attracted to his personality and other traits and agreed to be his girlfriend. He treated me like such a princess that I soon was very smitten.
We were in love within 3 months and went on to date for 8 years. He remains the only true love I've ver had. So yeah, it can happen and it can be wonderful,
Yes - beauty is in the eye of beholder!
Good luck!

Did I pick well. (-: Figured I would want the regulars to reconise an old friend.
Yep, sometimes we miss the most when we look the hardest. (-:
You could have called yourself bubblybabe and we would have recognized you with those smiley faces!
