So that I don't end up highjacking another thread, I thought I'd repost.

If you were going to make up an imaginary boyfriend to think about, just so you give off that "vibe", what would he be like?

Mine would be a construction worker with a nice tan

LOL God knows! I honestly haven't got a clue! I'm in London, UK; he was actually living in Spain and came to London to study; we broke up in 2002 and I haven't seen him since. He was rather tasty lol but a total child in so many ways, and did not drink at all - with my love of good wine, that was very very hard. A restaurant in Madrid, on a hot summer night, sitting outside, and the 'man' is drinking coke... Can you imagine? That would have been bad enough but he was trying to persuade me to scrap the wine and have a coke too... nope. These days, I stick to men my age - my bf is going to be 40 in July, and he loves his wine just like I do...

My ex lives in another city. We spent a few really great months together but then he had to go and unfortunately at the time I couldn't go with him (plus it was way to soon in the relationship IMO). I really wish it would have worked out though, since him I haven't felt the same connection with anyone. It's really hard sometimes, I somewhat feel like me might have been *the one* and I let it slip away. Live and learn I suppose...

I could have lived with the Coca~Cola, I think. *wink*

Where are you finding all of these international men? I think I read where you have an Italian BF now . . .

Oh there's loads of them here in London UK, you just have to know where to look..! The Latin type has been my 'thing' since early 30s for some reason. Over 6 foot, gorgeous, skinny, long black hair. The bf is indeed Italian, fits the description, (ooops sorry for bragging) and has much better/thicker hair than I do, the b*****d...

Latin has been my thing since I knew boys existed. I've yet to date one. I've dated a Turkish guy, a Muslim, and an Asian guy but I've yet to date a Latin one, LOL. I did have a boyfriend who's father was Latin but unfortunately, he looked like his mother's side of the family. Not a bad thing, he just didn't look Latin. I had fun with is last name though. It was Larios . . . I loved saying it. I'm a nerd.

I forgot you were in London. It all makes sense now. Lucky duck.

Hmm...perhaps that's why I didn't meet many guys I was attracted to in London, haha. :) I was spoiled and I didn't even enjoy it...

He would be tall, dark hair, he would have nice white teeth and he would make me laugh, he would probably be Italian and he would probably have jeans on. LOL

If he was a celebrity he would be Dane Cook.

Smile,

Deirdre
