Hello anyone who reads this,
How do you keep a relationship with your significant other alive and vibrant when you constantly face obstacles associated with being poor?

Communicating your fears, hopes and dreams and being supportive of each other. As for a ring..try the pawn shop...I know sounds cheesy but some have nice jewelry that's very inexpensive. There is help out there for young couples who are wanting to help themselves.(check the county, and your church)

A baby is due in August, so you have a choice of being at home and letting your parents help you, or marrying your fiance and letting him help you.

Bringing another life into the world is a tremendous responsibility as well as a financial challenge.

money has nothing to do with happiness with your partner....but it does pay for diapers and gives you privacy away from your parents. i think its best to think of what your child needs first. finishing school and getting a good job is most important. gaining independence away from your family is a close second. if you are having relationship problems, you need marriage counseling, whether you are married yet or not! counseling is not just for old married people! its nessasary for starting off on the right foot together. most priests or pastor actually require counseling before marrying.

i don't think money is really your problem, i think its goals and motivation. you have to think towards the future and really prepare!!
