I want that fridge magnet!
Sorry don't have any affirmations at the moment, I'll dwell on it and perhaps some will come to me. My basic philosophy is "Life is what you make it"

Affirmations are so powerful because of what they do subconsciously. Even if you don't consciously believe one word when you say them it doesn't matter- you say them out loud (as ridiculous as that sounds) and repeat them a few times a day.

You know that old saying has a lot of truth to it: Fake it till you make it.

I am emotional and sensitive too so I totally get that.
I guess I learned a long time ago ( and had to keep reviewing it since it doesnt come naturally!) that when I carry my baggage and negative emotions around whether it be anger, or disappointment, or just bitterness over things that have happened, it holds me back. I have had to learn the hard way a few times.
Letting go sounds harder than holding on to things but once you get the hang of it, it actually makes life a lot easier and more free.
