Alison, I think I remember you talking about your issues with your LDR and how you ended it because or sporatic communication.

Aww thanks for asking!

I ended things a week ago today and I still feel it was the right thing to do. Funny thing is that I don't feel sad about it, in fact, I've barely thought about him. Been hanging out with friends and having FUN, and the only time I've thought about him is when someone asks if I've heard from him LOL!

His little sister was really cute, she contacted me on Facebook chat asking if we could still be friends. I said of course! She's a sweet girl :)

I don't expect to talk to him for quite some time, actually. It will take me some time to get over the disappointment before I can go back to being friends without wanting more. And I doubt he will contact me, since he will go to the Mancave for a while.

I'm going this weekend to see friends in the same city as him, and hang with my cousin. We do have a lot of friends in common, but I doubt I will run into him, so it should be fine.

But ya, not really sad about the whole thing, since I think the two months of being really unhappy made me feel a huge sense of relief instead of sadness. I thought that I would miss him, but realized that I got so used to the lack of communication that I've gotten used to not talking to him. Sad, hey?

I'm glad you are doing fine, Al. You SOUND fine, and grounded and resolved. I admore that you took note of what was wrong in that relationship, how it simply was not right for you, and you did what was in your best interest. And opened up the parking spot for the one who is. You are a great inspiration to us Al. Glad you are doing well.

Obviously it was the right decision to make if you are rarely thinking about him. Well done!
That's nice his sister still wants to keep in touch :o)

He might be feeling all three. Sometimes when it just isnt "right" we still miss them, kick ourselves a bit, and are relieved someone ended it because we know we couldnt quite hack it.
