So - I took my very first bubble bath in 6 months the other night - the first in my "new" house! Can you believe that? It was WONDERFUL! However, I had the water a tad too hot and stayed in there a tad too long - because when I got out - I felt FAINT!

So . . . . .

1. What is your favorite bath product? Be really specific here . . . bubble bath, bath bombs, salt . . . exactly what with brand name and scent preferable!!!!

2. Do you like to read in the bath? What?

3. Do you turn out all of the lights and light candles?

4. Do you listen to music? What music?

5. How long will you sit in there?

6. Is there anything that you can't take a bath without? Like a specific loofah or a spa "pillow" or something?

7. Do you have a drink in the bathtub? What? Tea, wine, a beer?

8. Do your kiddos like baths?

I LOVE BATHS, but I get too impatient sitting ín them, however..... here it is:

1. What is your favorite bath product? Be really specific here . . . bubble bath, bath bombs, salt . . . exactly what with brand name and scent preferable!!!! I use Olive oil and milk in my bath. Not some product but just pour a liter of milk and a few caps of olive oil, then once a month, I scrub with olive oil and brown sugar, to get rid of the dead skin.

2. Do you like to read in the bath? What? I try too, but it never works, the kids are always trying to get in with me. I do talk on the phone or send messages sometimes.

3. Do you turn out all of the lights and light candles? nope, my kids turn "off and on" the lights the whole time, when I tell them it's my turn to be alone. BRATS! You'd think the oldest would be a bit grown up, but NOOOOOOOOOO she's as bad as the 4yr old when they want to get mommy back.

4. Do you listen to music? What music?

I listen to my kids scream. Does that count?

5. How long will you sit in there?

15 minutes, 20 tops. I just get too nervous or I can't stand the quiet when I actually have it. LOL

6. Is there anything that you can't take a bath without? Like a specific loofah or a spa "pillow" or something?
I have a spa pillow, loofah, sponge, special sented soaps, my back scrub, but I still get out after 15-20 minutes.

7. Do you have a drink in the bathtub? What? Tea, wine, a beer?

90% No, but sometimes I do have a glass of champagne or wine

8. Do your kiddos like baths?

They live for baths. The oldest will stay in for hours, but the youngest is like mommy- 15-20 minutes then she jumps out, grabs the towel and runs into my bed to keep warm, but soaks my bed in the process, because she didn't dry off properly.

Cat! You gotta wait until AFTER they go to bed! My boys were sound asleep . . . and didn't bother me a bit!!!!!!!

I must admit - when I hear Olive Oil - my first thought is "ew, the tub will HAVE to be cleaned IMMEDIATELY after the bath!" LOL!!!!!!!!!!

And I know what you mean about not being able to stand the quiet. I never really took baths until after my divorce - my apartment had a beautiful - HUGE - roman tub . . . and I would lay in that tub and the quiet would swallow me whole and I was thinking the WHOLE time "I should do a load of laundry! I should clean the kitchen floor! I should be writing a grocery list! OH! I forgot - I need to bake cookies Thursday night for Jojo's school! Wonder if I have all of the ingredients??" and after 10 minutes - I'd be OUT of the tub! LOL!

I LOVE the way "bath beads" filled with oil make the water...but I refuse to use them anymore. The clean up is NOT worth it. Salts are nice.

My bath bead story . . .

I used some lavendar scented bath beads - loved the way they smelled - loved the way they made the water feel. It was my first time using them. I was a teen - and used them in my parents' bathtub as my bathroom didn't have a tub (shower only - 3/4 bath). I didn't know about the oil slick they left. My dad took a shower the next morning (they were out that night) and turned on the water - stepped in the tub - and slipped and fell in the splits on the tub edge!!!!!!!!!! We laugh about it NOW - but that morning there was NOOOOO LAUGHTER! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a really fun poll, Min. I was just thinking of you this morning and wondering if your apple tan was still in tact!!

1. What is your favorite bath product? Be really specific here . . . bubble bath, bath bombs, salt . . . exactly what with brand name and scent preferable!!!!
I like any bubble bath that smells nice. It can be from Walmart or Bath and Body Shoppe or Body Shop. I also have a salt that is great for exfoliating your feet - like the one they use in a pedicure.

2. Do you like to read in the bath? What?
Not usually.

3. Do you turn out all of the lights and light candles?
Not usually - but if I was not by myself then I would definitely want candles!!

4. Do you listen to music? What music?
No - silence is golden!!

5. How long will you sit in there?
Until the water is not hot anymore - probably 15-20 minutes.

6. Is there anything that you can't take a bath without? Like a specific loofah or a spa "pillow" or something?
Well - the purpose of a bath for me is usually to stretch tired muscles. But I don't usually use anything for that.

7. Do you have a drink in the bathtub? What? Tea, wine, a beer?
Tea

8. Do your kiddos like baths?
No - he likes showers.

My apple tan has faded away almost completely. It was absolutely beautiful while it lasted! I love it - and I can PROMISE I'll be doing it again!

What kind of salt on your feet? Come on now - specifics! I want SPECIFICS!!!!

My favorite bath stuff is this bubble bath I get at Target - it's an off brand - can't think of the name - and it's "Coconut Milk Bath" - smells great. LOTS of luxurious bubbles, and no ring around the tub!!!!!!

The other night I used - don't know the exact name - but it was a bubble bath by Bath and Body Works (it was a gift from a friend that I did a big favor for - how nice!) and it has oatmeal in it and smells like oranges. It was HEAVEN!

"What kind of salt on your feet? Come on now - specifics! I want SPECIFICS!!!!"

I think it is a jasmine salt rub from The Body Shop. It does have an oil in it so you have to be careful not to use too much or it ends up on the bottom of the tub. But it really makes your feet and legs soft. I also use a pumace stone on the bottom of my feet on a regular basis. (be careful - if you have any cuts the salt BURNS!)

For after the bath, I really LOVE the Body Shop body butters - I have Mango, Cocoa and Blueberry.

And I ADORE the body sprays from Bath and Body Shoppe. I have bought so much of that stuff that I am not allowed to buy any more until I use it up - and this is even with putting some of it in the guest bathroom!! I love the plumeria and the toasted hazelnut sprays.

I just go ape over that stuff.

I also LOVE the body glitter powder and make up from Victorias Secret. Their lip gloss is fantastic - very pink - very flattering. And I love the eye liner from Sephora.

If I am not mistake - you have a great mall near Caesar's Palace - it has all of my favorite stores - but maybe you don't like it because it is touristy and you live there? The last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Venetian (LOVE IT!) and I was at the mall all the time - I don't like gambling - but I did come home with goodies from Victorias Secret and the stuffed monsters (Monsters Inc.) from the Disney store in that mall. :-)
