As you can guess from the title, there will be no date tonight with BF. He called this morning to tell me that he thinks he got caught up in the excitement of our first date but upon reflection realizes he does not feel the right chemistry with me. He really enjoys my company, thanks I am amazing, would love to keep in touch, yada yada yada....
I am just a little bit sad but overall, I am surprisingly alright with it and I think he is right. We had a great time together and being newbies we got a little excited and ahead of ourselves.
I will chalk this up as lesson learned on getting too excited too early on but also as a sign that I am on the right track. I know that I am meeting the right kind of guy I just haven't met my guy yet.
On that note.... I do have two meets set up for this week. Onward and upward!

sorry to hear about that... i'm glad you have a great attitude about it... baby steps. onward and upward is RIGHT.
Hey, then you should totally come to the festivities tonight starting at 8pm. There will plenty of great peeps! You said it was right near your house, so no harm in stoppping by for a bit.. whaddya say?

Sigh... well, that's too bad! It's likely because he's so new to OLD, he got caught up in the moment and the "newness", instead of thinking whether or not you two were a good match.
I'm just glad you're taking it all in stride and are going on further dates :)
I hate it when that happens. Its all part of the game though. Rules are you have to have a thick skin to play the game. And if you dont have a thick skin you will develop one soon.

Love, Love, Love your attitude. I'm totally impressed that he actually called and was honest.
I just do not get men & online dating. How could he be so excited at the end of the meet up with you then nothing ......
Good luck!
