Anti Aging UPDATE

OK so this is week three and I have to say this week has been a work nightmare for me. Lots of stress and a few arguments that really got heated between me and the SUZUKI people (they sometimes really do have a bow up their butt) and yet I am sticking to my routine and things are looking pretty good I think! I am posting all three pics so you can give me your opinions. I am getting so tired by the evenings I am really forcing myself to stick to it. Sometimes I SOOOO want to just hop in bed and forget all about it but then I think "what would the ladies on the board say? I came up with this idea of me trying the stuff out after all!!" So give me your feedback and maybe that will encourage me to drag myself in after a long tango concert tonight and still use my clarisonic - instead of a gin and tonic. LOL

Good for you!! I am happy for you and isnt it funny how just doing something for yourself just makes you feel better overall? I really feel that way. I mean in some silly way this was me taking time out for myself and nurturing that young girl inside me that used to stay up nights and paint toenails. I think I must have really needed it because it has prompted me to just look better in general - find those earrings and the right purse sort of thing....I dont know exactly when I lost track of how fun and rewarding primping was but I am sure SYB is appreciating it now...

These are the three products I am using plus the clarisonic. My skin is very smooth now and exfoliated so where in the first 2 weeks I was doing clarisonic for two minutes and the products both morning and night now I am doing less because I found it was drying out my skin a bit. So for now, I am doing the sleeping peel ONLY at night and the creams both night and day and I have reduced the Clarisonic to one minute twice a day, morning and night. This seems to have helped. I only think I have had to make this change because now we are dealing with my skin not needing as much exfoliation and the sleeping peel plus the clarisonic may have been doing double duty a bit. I will let you know if I notice anything else. Even the dryness was just slight but enough for me to just tone down the routine a notch. Overall I love all of the products and I am positive you will love the way both moisturizers smell like oranges. it is very soothing and the texture is really wonderful....I am kind of addicted to the smell and even when I am too tired to wash my face I just end up doing it for the smell that comes after:)...

Let us know how it goes!!

Dang- those prices are steep! I guess that is one of the biggest blocks in my buying some of those anti-aging stuff... not knowing if they would even WORK or not, and having to pay that much just to try them out! And not knowing if something much cheaper (as how some people just swear by plain old petroleum jelly for preventing wrinkles) might work just as well!

I have some stuff from Avon, and I thought it was alot to spend nearly $30 for one jar. Maybe I can't afford/too cheap

yep its pricey but honestly I could have spent SOOOO much more. This is still middle of the line stuff. Certainly more than a drugstore Olay brand but not nearly as much as some of the major brands in dept stores.
That is exactly why I gave it a try and put the updates here so that people could consider with someone else's results rather than just go by what they read online or in customer reviews. I wasnt silling to nor did I have the money for top of the line stuff.
I have never used a brand this expensive until now and I was using Olay before so you can see the difference. I was using Cetaphil before and Olay and now I am using the other. I am more consistent now with all of it but I was always moisturizing and to me there is no comparison at all in the tone of my skin right now. Also you use a lot less of this stuff so it lasts longer than you would think.
To each their own and I know I have my own price ranges for everything that I am comfortable with too!!

hey there. I do think the vitamin c product is slightly more irritating but it isnt emollient in any way so that might be contributing to my feeling. It is a serum and I have switched to just using at night lately. So I dont think I am seeing any anti wrinkling effects from that one. I think it is just keeping my face very exfoliated and smooth. That is the thing I am noticing more than ever lately is that my face is totally smooth, even toned and my pores on my t zone are WAY smaller- all of this made my make up go on a lot easier for my performance last Sat so that was a good test as well.
As far as the urine in the products I had already gotten concerned over that and read this:
http://thebeautybrains.com/2006/11/12/should-you-worry-about-pee-in-your-make-up/
I might be kidding myself but it made me feel better!! Apparently it is present in MANY women's cosmetics.

He hasnt said a word honestly. I think he just likes the fact I am taking care of myself but he hasnt said anything specific to me about my skin. DS said something the other day though and I thought that was funny. I am raising a wonderful man to be over here - someone will thank me eventually LOL....
