Tomorrow M and I are driving their for the weekend for a romantic getaway & meeting his best friend. I want to take M someplace kind of romantic and special on Saturday night or Sunday Morning for either dinner or brunch. Any ideas?

OMG! Murphyslaw! My maiden name is Murphy and it's the unbreakable curse that has been handed down to my poor girls. Last year when they returned from Germany, they were the last flight out before they shut down all airports due to the liquid bomb terror attack. Remember? Then this time, due to terrible storms they had to circle Frankfurt 2 hours and make an emergency landing to Cologne due to lack of fuel. Then they had to wait an additional 3.5 hours on the tarmac before returning to Frankfurt. After that a 3.5 hour drive and another 1 hour drive to my mothers. So the poor kids were on the road 20hours of airplane, and car. But, they had a wonderful disposition about it all. Tired, but happy to see everyone. My X husband was really surprised. He said he would have choked someone. LOL. So all is good.

When my ex & I were getting along (before cohabitation), we went to a restaurant in St Augsustine called the Raintree. To this day, it may have been the best, romantic place there is.
If you can get away from the kids...go to St. Augustine.
Shortcake.
