I don't have any suggestions, but if/when you DO get some idea what you are doing, don't forget to TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!!

I would LOVE to explore Grand Canyon... and your ideas of wanting to do something there, sounds like a blast! The only visit I've ever had to the Canyon, was on a family trip when I was a young teen or a pre-teen. And all we did was make a side trip up there (from our usual route along I-40)- and looked out over the edge. Visited one of the overlooks. And then that was IT!!! Sure that was amazing, and I loved it (and can say "I've been there") but it wasn't REALLY getting to see the Canyon, KWIM???

We need QB to help us with this.

I live in AZ for 11 years and loved visiting all of it.

One thing to keep in mind is that September is still very hot. The Grand Canyon is a must see and there are tons of things for you and DD to do there. Sedona is on the way to see it, too, if you have time.

TAKE PIX! And make sure you catch the bouquet at the wedding

OKay - then - catch it and bring it back here and we will raffle it off!! LOL!!

How do you get to the bottom to raft? You have to promise to take pix of that - I am scared of heights - so I don't think I could hike that little narrow trail to the bottom - either on my feet or the mule's back. I would be fit enough - but not brave enough!!

The Grand Canyon is very beautiful - a must see for sure - and a fun trip for you and DD!!

Hey Rebecca!

I'm about 200 miles from palm springs. (three hours driving). I love it there, although pricey it's way fun to visit. The resorts are beautiful. I actually honey-mooned there. Great restaurants, shops, sparkling clean pools and mineral spas, and nice outdoor activities in spring or fall.

I am ashamed to say that in my 38 years as a Western US native I have never been to the Grand Canyon. But I really want to go. I would LOVE to raft down the river! We were thinking of going this fall or sometime late rthis year. Keep me posted as to when you're going!
