I saw bits and pieces of the show last night...and I have to admit, I haven't seen the rest of shows, so I'm not really knowledgable on how the whole things works, but I just can't grasp it!

Could you date someone and fall in love with them, knowing the whole time that he is also dating someone else, and doing the same things with her that he is doing with you? Sharing the same intimacy, treating her the same way he treats you, etc...? I just can't fathom...I would have SUCH a hard time!!!! I don't think I could do it.

No - I would not want to do that. I have seen that show and I am always amazed at how those women could choose to waste their time and self esteem in such a manner.

I have not watched previous sesasons of this show, but I did see some episodes of this current one and I did see the finale last night. It was so bizarre. For the bachelor and the two women at the end I think they all came out ahead. The girl he did not choose accepted it and held her head high, and recognized that she had learned a lot by going through this and it is going to have a positive impact on her future relationships. She showes so much strength when he broke up with her. I think she grew up a lot in the last months of the show, and I was very impressed by her at the end. The way the bachelor showed his feelings for the girl he did choose, it was amazing. I was bawling my eyes out and my heart was screaming I WANT THAT KIND OF LOVE FROM SOMEONE! I know I deserve it! It was beautiful to watch them together.

No, I could never, would never want to put myself through that. It makes a competition out of dating and overall I don't like the concept. In this latest episode I was impressed by the three people at the end, they were all great people, but I am not at all impressed by the show itself.
