.....What a whirlwind vacation!
Thanks for all of your well wishes for my trip...it was fantastic! I had never been to Europe before and it was so wonderful to eperience the European culture. Italy is so beautiful! We stayed in Serrento, Rome and Venice. Rome is unbelievably romantic, rich wonderful foods and flavors (perfect for me as I love romance, good wine, coffee and good food!!) I was simply blown away by Rome's architecture, the history, the cathedrals and churches..I could literally feel the ambiance and history and deep roots of the "Eternal City" sink into me. I will definately be going back to Roma! Venice was just like the pictures...as if ever corner and every square was created by an artist. Beautuful canals and gondolas and quaint little shops. I too LOVE Europe. Italy espcially & I loved Greece as well. Its just literally a whole different world. I truly thing that travelling like that changes you. In a good way!

Glad to hear it was a fabulous experience, a lot to fit into a short period of time. Venice is a favorite of mine, too: however, I'll take the smaller places like Sorrento and Ravenna and Bologna over the big cities. Looking forward to pictures.
