If you are letting your bf spend the night. Or if you live together. Do you try to hind having sex from your kids. Or is out in the open, you have sex while there at home, etc.

Hi Carrie, welcome to the board.

Depending on the age of your children, they are likely to "know" that you are sexually active and understand what that entails: not that they want to know LOL! But no, there doesn't have to be a formal announcement of the act.

In any situation, it's a private act and not one that most people are comfortable with doing when the kids, regardless of age, are awake.

Little ones are more likely to wander into their parent's room, so an investment of a lock on the door is a good idea to prevent an accidental late-night visitor. My son is 8 and I still lock the door out of habit...

How old are your children?

In my opinion, it doesnt even matter really what the age of the kids are - having sex in your house w/ them there, with someone who isnt a very major committment in your life, isnt cool.

Have *I* "snuck" someone in? Yes, 3X total. & it was only b/c i have a seperate apt in my home w/ a locking door. So there was NO way to get caught. & still, it wasnt even worth it b/ c i was too nervous! lol

I say go to his house - until its a long term committed relationship.
