Hi Everyone,

Well, it's been an incredible year, and I will be celebrating my one year dating anniversary with Blue Eyes this coming Sunday November 4th!

We've been throwing around some ideas about how to celebrate. We might go out dancing, or take friends out to dinner or brunch, and certainly we will make time for "just the two of us" quality time as well.

Sounds like you're heading in the right direction Pacific. And WOW, Italy for Christmas, that's exciting. I wish I could have given you some ideas, but I'm so rusty at stuff like that I'm drawing a complete blank LOL.

WOW WOW.. Thats like a great way to begin next year.. Vaccation in Italy and RING !!

Since it is almost 1 year for you there is a big chance he wants to take it to next level... so it could be a special ring too ;-)

IN my case this month we have our first anniversary - for the day we went on our first date.. But it took many months for me to clear up my mind slowly .. although we moved very fast in getting closer. I still had this cloud of past and thoughts inside.. So just in few months that I am more clear , I can see how fast the relationship is going.

We also have plans for more vaccation together..Travelling is a

Congrats on your first one year date anniversary as well! Yeah, if he gets me the ring I think it will be more symbolic than anything else...I would be flattered and proud to wear a right hand ring until we decide to go the engagement route.

Here's how Italy came about. His newlywed daughter and son-in-law made the decision to go. His daughter wants to go because she was born there and lived there for a few years-- Blue Eyes was in the service and lived there 25 years ago, and that's where he started his family. So we are going to go with his daughter and her hubby. He no longer has any family there...but it will be nice to see where he lived. Plus we want to also see Rome, Naples and Venice...all in one week!!!! Soooo excited here :o)

Not to mention I can't wait to sample the wine, pasta and espresso!

So are you planning on doing anything to celebrate your one year date?

Thanks, Sydney. Yes, I am feeling pretty lucky to have a guy who thinks romantically. I feel happy also that we have made it one year. There have been rough spots and issues but I feel we have done pretty well at learning to communicate.

:o)

That is wonderful. So I am assuming you will be meeting his family ( his daughter)for the first time soon. Are you nervous. I am somehow excited and little nervous about first meeting. I know he will be more nervous to meet mine.

We havent planned anything yet concrete for anniversary. Last night when he called he mentioned going to the restaurant we went for the first time again. But if we take a vaccation that wont be possible. I am not all that keen on that restaurant itself. It was so loud.. we couldnt talk much and were communicating using eye language..lol. I wont might not going there again.

wow that is wonderful that even his daughters are recognising his change. Just last night I saw this movie "In her shoes" it was great. It was about two sisters one very smart and practical and the other a school dropout..( feels exactly like you discribed his daughters) .of course in the story their mom was dead..unlike blue eyes ex:-)

.. the story was focused on the relationship between the sisters who kind of grew up feeling lonely.

Yes, my guy seems eager to take me to his parents. he has already shown them all our pictures and he told me that they all said I look pretty :-).. Oh wait untill they meet me..also since I am from a non English speaking country they may not expct that I can actually talk English so well..lol...It will be fun.
