Bike, Shop, Date

Okay girls - I had a date. LOL!!

Last night I went out with my high school and long time girlfriend - we didn't stay out too late. This morning I had a long bike ride - got that done. Then started working on a to-do list of stuff I want to get done around here plus a big shopping list for the discount store.

In the middle of all of this, KM calls and asks to take me to dinner tonight. I said yes and then had to think a minute about where is DS - he is on vacation - so cool on that. LOL!! I guess I am so used to having him here that I think he is still here.

He picked me up - and we went to a fun place in an outdoor mall. So we got to walk around and chat. And then we had a really nice dinner. All in all a nice evening that ended too quick really.

He walked me to my door and he got a cheek kiss!! LOL!! I want to take things slow. But so far so good. He is surprising me really - with good things - good surprises are good. I like his stories a lot so far.

Awesome!!

I am horrible about spontaneous dates. I had a guy ask tonight why we didn't go out tonight. I'm like duh.. I told you four days ago that I was free tonight! (Date w/medic didn't happen.. I'll explain later another time lol)

Glad you had fun though! And so sweet he gave you a kiss on the cheek. I keep getting these over passionate men and its starting to worry me. I feel like I have HO written on my forhead.. and I'm not even wearing the skirt and leopard print! GRRR.

Good luck!!! :)

Sounds like fun. I am jealous of all three, cycling, shopping and a date. What kind of outdoor fun place was it? I am thinking arcade.

Thanks, Laurie. It was an outdoor mall with stores and restaurants. They just built it and I was wanting to go and see it. The weather was really nice so that helped!

Awww - you don't have HO written on your forehead - there are just a lot of them out there that are slaves to their peepees and so you have to weed them out and find one that is good for you - you will!!

I didn't mind the spontaneous date because we had seen each other the day before and gone kayaking and to lunch so I thought it was nice that he would want to go again.

That is the funny thing, Alison. I guess I am so used to having DS here with me (his father's schedule is sporadic because of work/travel) that I had that reaction - of uh oh - where is he and where does he need me to drive him to? LOL!!

this guy sounds good and I love spontaneous dtes since then you can second guess any of it since you are already going there! Sounds like you had a great time.
My sonwill be gone ina few weeks for a beach trip with his grandaprents and cousins and I always have those panics like "hold on let me thinkg if DS needs me that night" even when he has already been gone days! It is funny. It just shows how much our hearts and minds revolve aroudn these little people. It is weird right now for me to be without both SYB and DS. I feel so strange working around nobody's schedule - even if I do get a ton done when given some freedom!:)
Keep giving us updates on KM . I have a good feeling about this one....

Thanks, City.

How crazy that you are all by yourself!! Monty must love that!!

He did just write a nice note:
"Hi (west), just a quick hello and to thank you for last night, I really like how we can sit and talk and lose track of time. Looking forward to seeing you again."
