Ok you said you would help me out...

The baby will have to have a J name... so help me out. Here is what we have already and you will understand why it has to be a J name

Mine--

Jacob 9

Justin 9

Jerrys--

Joe 15

Jared 14

Jillian 12

OR maybe I should break the J theme and go with M -- so I have someone along with me????

(wink)

So what ideas do you have ladies???

YAY! I love picking names!!!

For J's

Boy: Joshua

Girl: Jamie (which breaks my rule of having to have a name they can grow into (my name is Mindy - I hate it - always have - still sounds so babyish to me - I always said I would NEVER stick my girls with baby names! But I LOVE the name Jamie - always have! I have a girlfriend named Jamie and we all call her "James" - which started when Mad About You was on.)

For M's

Boy: Michael, Matthew, Mitchell

Girl: Madeline (not mad-a-lynn - but mad-a-line), Monica

I'm so excited that YOU are so excited!!!!!

I just thought of something - how about going with an M if it is a girl and a J if it is a boy?

I like the "Joshua" name on this post!! And the "Madeline" for the girl.

I remember that we finally agreed on our son's name but could not decide on his middle name until we were on the way to the hospital!!

I confess that my instinct has been boy-- and for some reason "Jackson" has been the name I have been swaying towards?? I never even considered or thought of that name-- it just all of a sudden appeared out of the blue it was strange??

Because thats all I can think - boy-- I havent even thought of a girls name. I always wanted a Sara or an Emily or Bethany

I think boys don't like unusual names or spelling...boys with 'fancy' names choose simple nicknames...like a Stefan (mom pronounces it with F) goes by Steve, etc. I think names that can provide you with lots of nicknames are fun...Mikey, Mike, Mick for Michael, etc. Thanks for the opportunity to kick in...some might be a little too exotic, like Mai (pronounced my) or Jaya, but I've had those girls in my classes and they were smart, gorgeous and nice. Like the other poster said, teachers develop prejudices for/against some names because of former students! Good luck!

J

Jaden

James

Jamin (I had a collegue with this name, very cool!)

Jaya

Jesenia

Jonathan

Jordan

Jude

M

Madison

Maeve

Mai

Makeila

Malcom

Marco

Maritza

Matthew

Max (I know everyone thinks it's a dog's name, but I love it!)

Mercedes

Meredith

Mia

Michaela

Myles
