Browsing Online
Find a Conversation

I browsed Yahoo Personal last night. There were a couple that I would have emailed..... BUT then I saw my ex on Yahoo Personals. YIKES!! I don't want him seeing my profile online. It said it hadn't been active in 3 months.... but that was still a chilling site. My ex was abusive and I have a 5 yr no contact order. It freaks me out to think that he could secretly stalk me online if I put a personal profile online. My profile right now is in nonsearchable mode.
Wow, that was creepy. And I'm bummed because I was going to join a service but now I have reservations. Question: if I leave my profile as Nonsearchable but send emails to someone... could that particular person access my profile? Or I could try another site and check to make sure the ex isn't a member. Any suggestions...

yahoo personals is the only site I know of that allows you to hide your profile but only allow those you contact to see it.
Men are so visual that I think you really need a photo up - and that could be a good option.
What a horrid find for you!! I would hate for your exh to find you and bother you - sorry you had to go through that!
If you 'hide' your profile in Match.com, no one knows you're there except the
yay, that sounds like something I might be interested in... to keep unwanted eyes off my profile. I'll check it out.
Thanks!
