I think I must have a granola crunchy soul because of the names I seriously considered for my DD.
Sequoia, Sienna, Amber, Erin (actually Erin would fit her as she has some Irish blood and has Emeral green Eyes) before settling on the one I have always loved- Sierra.
I figured tough sneakers if I'm giving birth to a 4th child I'll name her whatever I want!
You're darn right, lol! Next time they give birth they can name the child- hehe. I
BTW I like the name August, too. I have a distant relative named Augustus so I brought the name up for consideration- saying we could call him (if a boy) Auggie..to the HORROR or my ex who would have rather thrown himself off a bridge before naming his child Auggie.
My poor daughter was named by my ex...well her middle name anyway. I was exhausted after 36 hours and just wanted to give her her first name. Before I knew it he yelled out her full name. He gave her his mothers first name for her middle name...now remember hes off the boat and between me and him my poor DD doesnt stand a chance in the schnoz department (both italian) Poor thing is Mia Maria....my family still wont let me live it down saying "is she destined for sainthood or something???" LOL The nurse in the pediatricians office yelled at me last time we were there because I was going to give her complex since I call her PP for short, came from me singing to her when she was a tiny baby Mia Pia Foof-a-lia how does your garden grow...BTW I sound like a cat being shaven when I sing so it never really soothed her LOL
