"4. When do you take the tree down? We're supposed to take it down?!?!?!"

I was cracking up when I read that!! Very good!!

It is funny how all of us single moms take the more practical route for everything, like fake trees.

On a funny note, MA and I have dubbed my house "chaos in chaosville" and MA's house as "the hotel" - because mine has 1 kid and 2 dogs and a lot going on and you basically hit the ground running - and he is the opposite - it looks like a scene from Pottery Barn and never changes. But we laugh at our differences.

This morning I told him I got up at 5:30AM, stripped the beds, did the laundry, put the cleaning robot in the pool and then went to swimming and swam 2 miles. Came back to pick up DS who had the dog dressed up to go to school - complete with backpack and uniform (I will have to put a picture of this in the smiles folder!) - drove them to school - half way there, DS discovers he took the empty lunchbox instead of the full one (we have 2 in case one gets lost). So I gave him my last $10 for lunch money and said we will turn this into a good thing - the other box can stay packed for Monday and you get pizza - have fun and bring home some change. Drop him off at 8AM and everyone at school had a major laugh over the dog who was still wearing the backpack and sitting proud in the front seat complete with the school uniform!! That is a lot to accomplish by so early.

MA was up and his main accomplishment was to dress for work and scoop up one dustball. LOL!!
