Aww Mark - how did this week go at work? I know that can be so upsetting when a boss gets mad or things just don't go right at work. Hopefully it is a little better?
I must say, you get an A+++++ for getting out there and trying and not giving up. Dating is hard and especially when you are not finding a match or one you like doesn't like you. I know both all too well. But I just know your persistence is going to pay off.
The line up, I must say, does sound impressive. I was thinking - wow this would make a great reality show! :-D You do have a lot more dates than any of us - the market is yours! I liked the idea of the one doing the dragon boats.
Sorry Lynn didn't work out - but at least she told you right away. I was rooting for that one - but so much for my root!
As for the flu - I have so been in that boat - it takes at least 3 or 4 weeks for a virus to clear til you can resume a full load. You will get your fitness back. I think this year has been crazy for people getting sick. My DS has never been absent so many days as this one.
(((((hugs)))))) We all have our ups & downs. I wonder though, if you are putting yourself out there SO much, that you are feeling, or maybe even coming across as, desperate?
I know that I do not come across as desperate because I am not. I have been that way after my marriage ... needy is more the term though. I do get intense when I find I like the woman for I get excited when I able to discern a modicum of connection with her.
Feast or famine for last week was nothing. I did not TRY to fill up every possible moment because I am an INFP which means as an introvert I need to recharge by being by myself. The only night I really would like to "fill up" is Saturday night which ironically I have nothing planned. I don't like to do things on week nights but it came out that way.
So I feel crappy before I have done these dates. I think it is a combination of my work stuff and my body is just worn out/down. I think the emotional stuff from Lynn and having Cindy back away did not help. PLUS my ears ringing for over a week that reminds me of my frail body and aging.

Awww Markster - HUGS!! Tomorrow is always another new day and you never know what is in store. Better days are yet to come. And even though the ringing in your ears makes you feel old, you are still young and very fit for your age! Age is just a number. I see men your age in my races go flying past me and other people who are younger like they are standing still!!
Hi Mark.. So many dates lined up. I can imagine, it is exausting to meet so many in one week. Do you think you would rather find one or two to meet each week an at the time YOU like (like on weekend). There are too many women out there for each good available guy. SO it is natural that you may find more women, and you ebing nice and great guy- every women wants to meet. But by now you should e able to shortlist- and meet only one or two eaach week. But coffee dates are okay in someways. Not too time and $ consuming for you..lol.
I like the womam who wanted to dance with you.. arent you biking with her? My intution says that has a chance.. I cant remember her name- Now that you have listed SOOO many womens name..
Well this being the first day of a busy week for you- just wanted to send you good vibes and well wishes. I know your mind is always open for new experiences and I hope that this week of new opportunity brings something or someone wonderful your way.
I hope your energy and spirits are up, as you begin this week and you had a chance to re-charge with your kids, too. And I hope the ringing in your ears goes away- just an FYI: ringing is usually temporary even though sometimes it takes a while to fade.
How did the weekend coffee thing go?
I'll be looking forward to your weeknight update posts!!

Mark, I missed your last posts about your issues at work, what happened?
I wonder if you're suffering exercise burnout.
