Hi everyone. I have become a bit addicted to this site I found online which is free called mint.com. It uses the same security measures as online banking does and you basically put in all of your accounts with passwords and usernames and then it has everything in one spot. So I have my credit cards, bank checking and savings, t rowe price accounts, and when I log on, it shows me what transactions I am making from each and then categorizes them and helps me see where the money is going by finding my spending trends and setting budgets. It tells me when checks clear and when my deposits or transfers are cleared and available and reminds me when the credit cards are due or if I am getting close to my limits. It even helped me find ways to save by telling me I qualified for a better credit card or a more interest bearing savings account. totally cool. I am doing well saving from it. I just wanted to share and see if it could help someone else as well.
I kind of sound like a spammer now. LOL Dont report me !

Thanks soonee!! I have to admit I am kind of addicted since I have all of my accounts registered online anyhow and pay them that way and check bank stuff.....Now all I have to do is go to mint.com to check on transactions and stuff clearing. It has been an excellent tool for budgeting over here in the last few months and I have waited to post it because I thought it was possible it would lose its bloom after a while but in fact it has gotten better. I love too how it keeps giving me savings ideas about a bank nearby that can better my interest rate or a card that has points I can earn that would relate to some of the purchases I already make with a better interest rate to boot. It seems to be looking for ways to help me and it is free! (and I need all the help I can get over here)
In other unrelated news, I spent a VERY romantic night with my new violin last night and took the plunge and proposed to it. We are looking at an August wedding maybe for my debut on it! I am so in love. SYB who? LOL My libido has changed its aim rather drastically over here - luckily SYB is looking more amused than jealous:)
