I was thinking I just HAD to post this - because he sounds like me. Whatcha think? LOL!!

Hi (west)

That's funny about the bike riding, I sort of do the same thing, I either ride alone or with a small group of trusted friends.

And guess what, I ride (beachroad), (mytown) or by my house (his town).

When I ride on (beachroad) a lot of times we start by (beach Blvd) and head north to (antoher beach blvd) in beach town and add more if we want to do more then 50 miles.

When I ride in (my town) it is usually a shorter, harder ride. I like biking in (my town).

Anyway, I like to bike, but don't think it consumes me.

Ok, different topic, how has the dating thing been working for you?

From my side it is has been good to meet some nice people, but for the most part, it really has been hard to find people who share the same overall interests that I like.

It also has been very enlightening about myself. By dating others I have learned a lot more about what makes me tick. Kind of a weird way to find out about yourself, but I think everyone has a perception of who they are, but in reality, it doesn't always play out that you are what you think you are....boy, I hope you followed that?!

So (west), where did you grow up? Tell me a little about yourself and ask me anything you would like to know.

Cheers,

(potential dater of west?) LOL - I just had to add that one!!

That one was a little hard to follow. Was he giving you directions of his bike riding route so the you could just...uh hum "bump" into each other?

Sorry to confuse - I had to take out all the names of the towns and roads. But he was giving his route - and it is the same as mine!!

I guess the point I was trying to make is that he rides the same, in the same places and the same distances - and then he was very logical with what dating has done for him and says what I would say.

I hope that makes more sense!!

He is 3 years younger and only 20 miles away. So, those numbers are good.

I just sent him a note back. Will see what happens.

MtEverest sent me some quiz on Facebook - he knows from my updates that I was traveling last week and wished me a good trip. But whatever, right?

I think this one will ask me for a date. I just typed him a note back answering his questions and asking him more.

I must be tired from my trip - not really getting too excited over any of them - even though I must admit - this is one of the best matches on paper - single dad, loves to ride a bike and eat healthy and has done triathlons, really good job, lives close, good picture, nice notes to me. But at the same time I know the ropes and that it matters how things go over time.

I deleted the one who is too far.

Still have not heard from the one on EH - who by the way - is an engineer with the same name as MA!! But I am quite sure it is not MA - this one is younger and posts a picture. He has a lot of the same interests as well.

What are the chances of you running into him on your mutual bike route?
