I was thinking I just HAD to post this - because he sounds like me. Whatcha think? LOL!!

Hi (west)

That's funny about the bike riding, I sort of do the same thing, I either ride alone or with a small group of trusted friends.

And guess what, I ride (beachroad), (mytown) or by my house (his town).

When I ride on (beachroad) a lot of times we start by (beach Blvd) and head north to (antoher beach blvd) in beach town and add more if we want to do more then 50 miles.

When I ride in (my town) it is usually a shorter, harder ride. I like biking in (my town).

Anyway, I like to bike, but don't think it consumes me.

Ok, different topic, how has the dating thing been working for you?

From my side it is has been good to meet some nice people, but for the most part, it really has been hard to find people who share the same overall interests that I like.

It also has been very enlightening about myself. By dating others I have learned a lot more about what makes me tick. Kind of a weird way to find out about yourself, but I think everyone has a perception of who they are, but in reality, it doesn't always play out that you are what you think you are....boy, I hope you followed that?!

So (west), where did you grow up? Tell me a little about yourself and ask me anything you would like to know.

Cheers,

(potential dater of west?) LOL - I just had to add that one!!

I don't know - that is a good question. If he is with a few of his friends and they are riding fast they will blow by and say hi. That is what most guys do when riding - they are focused on their workout. Which is probably why I have better luck on match!! LOL!!

Plus it is a long way to ride and if we don't start at the same time we might never see each other. I have been riding a lot of miles so starting early.

I don't know - if he was good on paper and really liked me I might give it one more try to see. I did notice, while at the camp, that one of the guys seemed sort of appealing at the end of the week after we had a lot of time to communicate. Not that it was a wild attraction and he certainly not a candidate because he is younger and has a gf and lives far away - but it was just sort of an educational - if you had more time in real life you might have more attractions - kind of thing. He was nice and funny and smart and just enjoyable to be around.

I have a nickname for the engineer on EH - Kiwi - because he is from NZ - has been here 18 months and is in the Bahamas for work. So that is a little shaky - but he writes nice notes and we have a lot in common - so have to dig about the stability thing. That is a big biggee with me. I guess I will call the other one CFObiker or something like that. Of course they could all disappear and we could have another batch tomorrow. MtEverest is naming me as a favorite in facebook and the girl he was flirting with is no longer a friend - for whatever all that nonsense means.

The important thing is that the nice one who wants to call and go out on a regular basis is going to end up the king!! LOL!!

I deleted the cyclist who has 4 kids on the 50/50 plan and lives an hour away. To me, that is like a dead end street because of the distance and his situation. I want something easier.

There was a skier that wrote this morning and he sort of sounded okay -until I saw one of his pix - he has no shirt and is standing by a firetruck. DELETE!!!! LOL!! There were a few other pix I didn't like but that one raised the hair on the back of my neck!!
