He probably got wildly drunk with the boys while out snowmobiling.

Just a thought - who was he snowmobiling with? Was it with the guys? Maybe they went out drinking afterwards? Something to watch because lack of self esteem sometimes comes with that. But I could be REALLY wrong - maybe something happened? But maybe not. Keep us posted.

He was going with his cousin--he claims he doesn't drink but once a week (I know, you never know.)

I'm sorry about Mr NoShow. And maybe something did come up..you will see. But if he just didn't show because he's not man enough to call and cancel, then it's better you find that out now.

I know it is discouraging, especially when you see what looks like a good guy and potential. Hold off on calling or emailing anymore. Balls in his court and if he doesnt return it, definately HIS loss.

(((hugs)))) Now go out there and enjoy your weekend with the girls! PS..I love playing cards!

I totally agree about dating really sucking! Go enjoy your weekend without the kids. I go visit friends or do stuff around my house. Part of Christmas vacation I was alone, so I decided to paint my bedroom. I LOVE it and it kept me busy. I also rented movies and did a bunch of decluttering.
You know what? I had totally given up on dating and was just enjoying my life and building my side business. I wasn't even looking and had decided I needed a man in my life like I needed another hole in my head!! LOL! Then I met someone who sent me a message on myspace and things are clicking right along. So, you just never know!

The thing about dating is that we know what we want - how we want to be treated - we want friendship, affection and someone who says they will do what they want to do. And it if was a matter of find him and he wants the same thing - check off the box and you are done - it would be easy.

But it depends on finding a mutual match who will feel the same way and want the same things. Many men do not form attachments the way we do and do not desire the same amount of affection and friendship. They do not always like to make and stick to plans and a relationship doesn't always mean anything to them. They are "of the moment" so to speak. This is why you need to date a lot of people until the right one commits. Have fun along the way. It is hit or miss.

So, patience is in order to find the right one at the right time. If this one is a miss and you never hear from him again it is his loss and you will wait and find another. If he is right then that is good, too.

Hopefully there is just some confusion or story.
