I do. I'm looking forward to a dinner date this weekend.

I met someone last Saturday at a karaoke bar (my local hangout). Ran into him again on Tuesday night. And then he called me last night to see if I was at karaoke again. So I went again. I have fun when I'm hanging with a group of people (my friends and his friends). And I'm flattered that he invited me on THE date night, Saturday.

STATS: 24, navy photographer, 6'2", goofy.

Good for you!! :-)

Edited to add - no plans for a date here - although I have 2 planned sporting functions so my eyes will be open :-)

I have one! I'm going out with my Hiker. Nothing special planned but dinner and maybe a movie- there's no special event in town or anything this weekend like we had last weekend! Last weekend was just a busy one! I'm kinda glad this weekend is looking like it's going to be a quiet one without alot of running-around.

Most likely it'll be dinner and then back to my house for a rental movie and some Good Ol' Lovin'. Does a girl good. ;-) ;-) ;-)

OH, and you all will be proud to know that I told him about my children. I feel much better about my whole self and don't feel like I have to hide things. And I don't feel like I have to hide my age either. This week I just feel more comfortable with where I'm at....and if a guy doesn't like it than it is better to find out sooner rather than later.

thanks again everyone for all the great advice and support.

Loony, sounds good!
Shrimpy, sounds good!

I have kid plans all weekend- tomorrow a birthday party for my honorary nephew who turns two, Halloween costume shopping for my two kiddos, and maybe bowling with a girlfriend and her son, and then Sunday the pumpkin farm for a group of us, and possibly SSS will come with his son. It will not be a date, though, since our children will be there. It will be friends hanging out with their children on a beautiful fall day, which it promises to be.

I also have to get some homework done, housework done, curtains purchased, washed, ironed and hung, and I'd like to put plastic on at least a couple of windows this weekend before the cold weather gets here. I think I'll set my alarm this weekend instead of just waking up as is my norm, since it loks like I have a lot to get accomplished.

Moody- who is looking forward to having lots of little check marks on her to-do list come Sunday evening!
