I left my ex back in Sept after finding out he had a 21 year old Russian girlfriend ("hes 43 and hes old and she makes him feel young and good and they are in love and i need to get over it"...yes verbatim). So I moved our 23 month old daughter out and am starting over. Trying to anyway. (Did I mention she moved in 48 hours after

It sounds like there is a bit of confusion - where he wants to hang out - and you want to be courted.

I would not break up - I would explain what you want. He can pony it up - or not - whatever. In the mean time you can look for more fish in the sea.

Sorry you have all this frustration - dating and disappointment and frustration and hard work and patience all go hand in hand. The important thing is to keep on movin' and play the numbers game - it is a numbers game. Some get lucky sooner and some get lucky after a while.

That is why we have this board. Everyone struggles with whatever stage they are in - whether it is keeping busy and occupied through lonely spots when you are not dating, dating and hoping a guy likes you, dating and not liking someone as much as they like you, wondering if they will commit, wondering if you should commit, breaking up - whatever - none of it is easy.

But we are glad to have you and hope you will participate in all of our threads!! Good luck with whatever you decide - everyone has done a great job as always with ideas and advice and support. I learn something new every day!

OK this is random but money is tight always around here and that last post got me. I had totally forgotten that of course you can take ashes and make a diamond....I had this hysterical thought where I went "See? I CANNN afford a diamond. I will just have to die for it." It was a pretty matter of fact thought for what its worth.
Nice, right? Made me laugh though!

Oh I totally get that one. That was a sweet story rlch.
We put my moms ashes in a public garden illegally. We just all walked there totally willing to go to the slammer for it. Hell hath no fury like people who have lost their mother. We seriously saw so little reason - none really. I went back there later that year on the evening of my first performance without her heartbroken in an evening gown, traipsing through mud and crying my mascara out. I must have been quite a sight but I convinced myself I coudlnt play until I had spoken with her. lol I stood there and weeped and choked and scared people and then I heard this munching sound and looked to my side and saw a squirrel sitting next to me just a few feet away attending my "performance" and eating the only food my mother would touch when she was nauseous and sick....a cheeto. LOL She was making fun of me!! I still laugh thinking about it.
AND I completely understand the thinking about taxidermy thing. I dont know what in the world we will do without Monty over here. It will be pain we havent been through before as a family where pets are concerned - I know that. We love him like he was a child of ours and he is so huge and slow it only makes my heart swell more somehow. He let me brush his teeth yesterday and he just raises his paws one at a time for me to clip his nails and watches me do it while he drools on the hand I am holding the tool with, chin sinking. He is such a star:)

Talk about cat and pee. I have 7 cats right now and one of them peed on my clothes this morning. Didn't realize until I got into the car! Needless to say, I smell like cat pee at the office. And I'm staying
