Ok, so he asked me to go to a concert with him. I haven't given him an answer yet, BUT do I assume that he is paying for a ticket. This will be our 1st offical date...

If he invited you to the concert then, IMO, he should pay for the ticket.

If he invited you, then you should certainly assume that he is buying. Tis the way of the world.

I agree, if he was the one that invited you, he should be covering the cost of the ticket, IMHO. Let us know how it goes!

If he asks you and doesnt bring up the cost or splitting it, assume he is paying, but bring enough to bail yourself out for whatever reason, taxi, half a ticket, his forgotten wallet....

I agree! I heard the FUNNIEST story from this guy that I am in contact with on match.com. He was on a first date and they were in a restaurant and he REALIZED he forgot his wallet! He was mortified, well the date said she had to go to the Restroom and 10 minutes later he realized she DITCHED him. He ends up getting food for two brought to his table, he had to tell the waitress the embarrassing incident. Went home, got his wallet and took home a doggie bag of two. LOLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE THAT STORY!!!
So make sure you have enough money for at least the getaway! LOL
