Because they can. THEY don't find a problem with the age difference and are very visual creatures.

I like the one with twins - when do you go for coffee?

Keep us posted!!

There is a trickle down (or up, as the case may be) effect from that too. Men my age (in their 40's) are mainly interested in women in their 30's. Do you know how much fun it is to be chased by someone in their 50's!!!! EEEWWWWW!!!!

Maybe because not all women are bothered by the age difference?

Hi, My guy is in mid 40s and I am in 30s. He was very reluctant to date me because initially he thought Iam in 20s. But even later he thought that 10+ yr diff is too much.

But we do just fine together.

He said that he woudnt mind dating older women at all if he found someone compatible. But he said that one of the many many reasons he is happy about me (being younger ) is the possibility of having kids. He has never been married or have kids. After he met me now he thinks about how it would be like to have his own kids and so forth..

So may be just may be this could be one remote reason, in case the guy doesnt have any kids.. he see this remote possibility. or perhaps he doesnt think 10 or 15 yr as a major age gap.

As a 54 yr old single man who has been mistaken for 40 by those who are either 40 or younger (I attribute that to my Japanese genes).

I love the "age" questions....

The oldest gap I've dated was 12 yrs younger... (my first husband was six yrs older and my second husband was 2 yrs older). And now i date much younger guys... but it's not a requirement.... The average age I've dated in the past year is 7 years younger. Age, by itself, for me doesn't matter... I get to know the person and if we have stuff to talk about and enjoy doing the same things, I'll go out.

I could be fooling myself but everyone tells me I look between 25 - 28.. so I think that's why i attract younger guys... but after I tell them my age, they are still interested and usually impressed that I look so much younger. Even Sean said to his friend.. she's 35 yrs old and she's got a better body than me. (well, i dont think so but it's an ego boost that he thinks so...).

I haven't had much fun dating an older guy, but that doesn't mean I won't... I will... because i believe in getting to know someone a little before writing them off...

Loonbunny ~ who's happy to say i'm enjoying being single and dating.

Hey- I'M being chased by someone in his 50's and he's not so bad!!! lol

But then again... he doesn't look like he's in his 50's at all. Most people think he's in his 40's. And I'm in my 30's! lol So we BOTH have people fooled... but no one guesses the 2 of us to be the same age, either. He's still obviously older (as it should be- hehe).
