Okay Rebecca, I'm checking in for my weigh in. It has been one week since I decided to join you and the others. Drumroll please................

I've lost 2 pounds! :) Now it may be water weight but I don't care! lol I started back on Sparkpeople.com which I had tried back in January. It has really helped me as far as setting my limits for cals, fat, carbs, and protein. I need visuals and this is perfect for me.

I've decided to do mini goals of 5 pounds at a time too. I want to lose 5 by the end of May, 5 pounds maybe 7 by the end of June, etc. Now I just need to find some different little ways to treat myself when I reach these mini goals. I'm sure I can think of something! :)

Thanks again Rebecca for starting this.

EXCELLENT! Way to go Jennifer! I'm so glad you decided to do this for yourself. You sounded so sad last week! I think this is just the ticket to make yourself "feel" more loveable again! Once you start getting your confidence back up other things will line up for you as well. Big hugs!

Good for YOU! YEY!!!!!!!!!

BAD ... me. Bad bad bad. Weekend killed me - gained BACK the 2# I lost last week. Then i was in Manhattan the past couple days - ate, lots. & the next 4 days of my life are CRAZY busy with various things & 2 overnite 12 hr shifts.

So ..... I am taking myself off the list here till Monday, lol. ;) But come Monday, well, Tuesday b/c i cant work out after an overnite, so i will be back at that feaking gym, if it kills me, b/c it may well do that! on Tues. If i had to walk by one more NYC window & see my plump reflection, i was gonna vomit!

Glad OTHERS are doing well though! YEYE!

I have actually done okay this week. I think I may have lost a pound or two, but my pepsi consumtion has been down.

I wanted to share something I have been doing for a few weeks and it has made me feel really great. One of my goals is to exercise more so I have taken a 15 minute work out video to my classrooma and I do that the first 15 minutes of my plan. Then when I get home, I only have to do 15 more minutes on the bike. It has made getting in 30 minutes of exercise a breeze and I have stuck with it for two weeks. I think Imentioned the video last week or so. My afternoons are so nice now. I have a ton of energy for my last class of the day.

My eating habits still suck, but Ia m going to be excited because of the exercise. Yeah me!!!

Everyone seems to be making headway! I have been being very careful about what goes into my mouth. Much less coffee, much less diet coke, much less chocolate.

I don't consider that I'm on a diet, instead, I am trying to live more healthfully. I need to get at least one video- I have a steps one and a few tae-bo videos, but I never seem to have time for those. One that's short and sweet should work well for me, since I can always find 15 mintues here and there!

I really need to find something I can do during the long workday, but breaking away from me desk becomes more and more impossible lately. Luckily I am consciously eating better, so hopefully that'll help.

Moody, after only one cup of coffee this morning

Hey Moody, if you join Sparkpeople, they have some videos on their site that you can do at your desk if you can do it there.

Hey Liz. I didn't realize Sparkpeople had those exercises on their website! Duh! lol I haven't been the best as far as exercise this week. I seem to only do well on the weeks that my son is with his dad. I've had homework out of the wazoo this week so I have been opting to do that instead of exercising. lol

I will find SOMETHING to do though. Does doing laundry count? lol

So you're a point whore huh? lol Too funny. I'm just now finding places I can get the points I need! lol

I need to find more creative ways to slip in exercise 3x a week. I'm eating healthy just not getting that exercise in....
