Okay girls - just back from swimming and catching up the board so thought I would write you my date report.
I kind of had a crazy day yesterday - which is a good thing. I was really busy with work - and had to fit in 2 workouts plus clean a huge mess in the office. I went biking and to save time did some errands on the bike- bank and post office - then about 8 miles out from my house a huge storm came in and I got drenched. The visibility was so bad I had to ride on the sidewalk!! Came in found a "dog food carpet" in my office - they spilled a huge bowl of dog food and were standing in the middle of it staring at me like what do we do now!! So I picked that up and in the true spirit of a dedicated athlete I went back out to run with the dogs - it was cool out - and just a light drizzle - we ran an hour. Then I came back in and said wow - I have to get ready fast for the date.
I put on a more elegant pant and sweater set and put my hair in a pony tail - had pearl earrings - a nice sophisticated look. He picked me up and we went to a really nice restaurant that he picked out. And then we went to listen to music.
We always have a lot to talk about - he was updating me on his dad - his dad needs to live in an assisted living place and he goes there at least 3 times a week to visit him and the residents - he brings them ice cream and cookies - and he takes his aunt there as well since she doesn't drive. I did notice that he is very polite and he gets brownie points for that.
He did ask me why I am single and we had a laugh about our OLD dating experiences. But I also used that as an opportunity to explain I do not want to be with a guy who is looking for a 3rd date tumble to steal Soonee's description - that I want a good relationship and the opportunity to be friends first and really get to know someone. He agreed.
He held my hand while we were waiting on the elevator. And he got a simple kiss goodnight and he was happy - said he will call again soon.
He is nice and I feel that from what I see so far that he has potential. And I think he feels the same way.
So, I will keep you posted! Thanks for reading as usual.

Westie,
What I like about this one is how thoughtful he seems- really doesn't put himself first all the time... he pays attention to the needs and schedules of those around him.
Great update!
Date/Guy Sounds solid to me.
Judy,After hearing your usual workout routines, I would never contact you if I was not a triathlete. Somebody that hard core about working out is just plain intimidating to me.
Mark who at the height of his athletic prowess (which isn't really saying much) never came close to Judy

Kayakman sounds really nice. I like the fact he visits his Dad so often, he must be a caring son. And to want a long term relationship too- all sounds very promising.

Wow. It sounds like a good evening. Keep us posted. Since I am not dating yet I will live off of everyone elses stories. Just like a soap opera.
