Do you bake?

Okay - now we have lots of holiday threads and questions.

Do you bake for the holidays? And if so, what do you bake?

This year since we are getting a dog, I searched and found a healthy dog biscuit recipe. I am going to make those since it means less calories for me and also since I am not going to have the usual time because of tests!! hahaha!!

I have been baking all day- getting ready for a big exam in 2 weeks - and gave the baking part of my test a trial run today. Eclairs, vanilla custard, pie shells, rolls, cakes and chocolate sauce. 5 hours of baking and cleaning up and I am so tired - I was too tired to cook dinner so we had to go to the neighborhood salad bar place.

My new stove is christened because I boiled over a pot of milk. EEEGADS.

I did freeze a lot of the stuff so I can use it here for when I have my family over.

But usually I do like to make all sorts of xmas cookies.

To be honest, I'm not much of a baker: my idea of baking is warming up the pie from the grocery store in the oven LOL!

I do like to bake, but I am really short on time in December. I am also trying not to gain much weight over the holidays. LOL! I always manage to make fudge, but that isn't really baking.

I love to bake (Yes, a GUY that cooks AND bakes.)

I have a couple of receipes from my Mom. My fav is Brown Sugar Cookies. I like making her Fudge too (cooked fudge of course!).

DD want's to do Sugar Cookies this year, so I gotta dig out the BH&G cookbook.
