Perhaps you need to keep a journal and to make an entry about why that love did not work out and why you didn't like him? I would also suggest having more activities and interests so you can improve happiness and limit the time for bad thoughts - or to journal those so you can write them down and get them out of your system?

Thanks. I was thinking about this last night. I will get 3 journals. 2 for me and one for my SO and one for me to write about my past.
So we both will write the feel good and feel bad things about the other in our journal..
and in my second journal I will write about my past relationship and why it couldnt survive.
