I also think it is a different level of commitment than having your bf over to spend the night. Is it something that I personally would be comfortable with? No. But they are working on blending their families and planning their future and I am very happy for them!

You said your 14 y/o is constantly wanting to know your business. Unfortunately it won't be much longer before she is MUCH more interested in what is going on in her world. Sigh... The teenage years are a challenge. I would enjoy that for now because it probably won't stay that way.

I agree--I have a friend whose boyfriend moved in after they had only been together 4 months--all because of his situation--his roommates were moving and he was losing his apartment.
