Not feeling so good about some weight i've gain over the past few months.... It's to the point now where i have to buy new clothes..... eeeeeek and I've been wearing the same clothes for years. It's also to the point where pictures come back and i'm stunned at my stomach bulging out there.....

I know I'm being hard on myself but it didn't help when my mother said "i've noticed your getting porky." PORKY?! I told her... 10-15 pounds... and you're calling me porky. She said, well you were always so skinny..... Funny how one small comment from my mother and i'm paranoid now....

I know that i've been slowly gaining weight since last summer.... and I was enjoying the fuller curves...but for my mother to call me porky? :-(

I guess it's all those lunches i've been eating lately, right. lol.

Anyhow, needed to vent....

stuff that often causes people to over eat (a party for example).....this is exactly my problem. Situational. Like going to parties or out to dinner or having guest over, or holidays, etc etc. Great example, the superbowl gathering this Sunday. There will be a huge party tray over there...it's so hard to ignore the relish tray!! Yikes.

"My DS is pretty skinny too--you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find boys 10slim pants--I usually have to mail order b/c the stores only stock regular and husky for boys!"
I sure would. And it won't get better as he gets older. Finding dress clothes for the boys recitals was always a challenge. S19 has had a 29 in waist since he was 15, but has these huge shoulders from swimming, well that and just because he has huge shoulders. Just try finding an athletic fit dress shirt that isn't blousey. And the styles of boys pants are all very loose so they just fall off the thin guys.

Heh, try finding pants that fit a kid who is stocky and built like a tank, but not fat, and short.
