EMT met the family
10
Sun, 10-12-2008 - 10:25pm

EMT got to meet all 3 kids, 1 boyfriend and 1 friend all at once and he was wonderful! It was a great night. His DD21 was there with her boyfriend. She is as sweet as can be. And my DD21 gave me a text just after they left with her seal of approval. That saying a lot considering both DD's are very over protective and critical.

All things went amazingly well. What a great night.

Thanks and the kids pics are cute.

Last night was great. EMT was amazing, fun, wonderful and loving. His daughter as sweet as can be. I got the ok from my DD as we were leaving. Thats a huge success. My kids are over critical.

EMT has not said the ILY words yet, but his actions sure say it and he calls me "my love". I am happy with how this is developing. Very happy.

Thanks Soccermom. And thanks for your support. This board has been most helpful during this crazy time of dating in my 40's with teenagers at home.

RG and I still hang out as friends. Not real often and we dont talk as much. So I am mostly RG free. I still have some feelings but not anything like before and I realize that it could never be serious with RG. He has just too many issues.

Yay Laurie!!!

What a great night! And yea, his actions speak volumes. I love the way he seems ready to be with you, and not holding back. Open and fun and loving...that is wonderful!! I'm very happy that things are going well, and that your kids are giving you the thumbs up is great.. Thanks for sharing this happy news!

Sounds to me that you are letting EMT have the VIP parking spot in your heart :o)

Ahhh thanks. I think they are pretty cute but I am biased.

Good that you got the okay from DD. My second DD is also very hard to impress but gave the okay to Duck Fan after he said he liked her cupcakes. They haven't met yet but they've spoken.

Actions do speak louder than words. Especially with boys.
