Well, for me, I'm heading out tomorrow night with a friend(girl) for some dinner and dancing at one of our hang-outs, by the way this should be interesting since I'm headed back to the place where i met my 'gentleman' friend a couple weeks ago...hmmmm I'll keep ya posted on what happens there.(Wanna start a pool taking bets on what his excuse will be for not calling??) I have the "I lost your number" line...anybody else? ;)
Saturday will be a movie day with my little girl.. then sunday is back to prep work for the week ahead....
I am flying to San Antonio tomorrow to visit a friend that I met on my cruise last year. She and I are going to visit a wildflower farm. I have always wanted to go and this is the perfect time of year! I really need some adult time without my kids! Stephanie
Friday - Clean the house. I'm off on fridays so I usually do the whole house that day so I don't have to worry about it on the weekend. Then, Friday night taking my son to Chuck E. Cheese.
Saturday - Taking my son to the park for most of the day, Then coming home and letting him help his grandpa plant the rest of the garden( I swear he's going to be a bottonist, I've never seen a child so obsessed with flowers and plants and anything that grows.) Then after my son is in bed, I have a date with my BF.
Sunday - Relax, hang out in the back yard, play with the dog, spend time with my son, and get ready for the next week.
That's about it, nothing too interesting, just another typical weekend
My girls come home tomorrow afternoon after being away for a full week, so I will leave work early tomorrow, and have fun girl-hang out time with my kids... probably go to the park, out for dinner, maybe some shopping, whatever they are up for.
DD9 has dance Saturday afternoon, otherwise, just fun stuff with the girls, and BF and his daughter too...
I need to squeeze some packing in, since we are moving the first week of May and I've done almost NO packing yet! Fun first this weekend, though... I miss my kids so much, and they miss home!
my mom is flying in tomorrow from New Mexico. Saturday we will be going to a bar mitzvah, then sunday a family bbq (my mom will meet Mike) then monday and tuesday i will be in key west!! yaay for 4 day weekends!!!
Yay Steph!!! I love April wildflower season down in South Texas!!!!! Everything is just gorgeous. And up here in the panhandle... everything is dry and brown and crunchy because we've had next to no rain for months.
Have a great time, and I hope you get some great pictures!
Going to be an interesting weekend here. I need to be cleaning around the house- ALOT... and I might be doing some of that just to keep my mind off of things.
First thing today though- I'm taking my best friend's daughter to a book sale after school. Then Friday evening I have a date with Hiker. It'll be the first time we'll see each other in person after our first 'big deal' as a couple- and I'm actually looking forward to seeing him face to face again and really getting things straightened out and in place between us. And then it'll be time to brace myself for what might happen next (story on the DASP board) but Hiker's ex is moving back and he is letting her stay at his house until she can find a job and get the money to find her own place. It's maddening, it's crazy... but I hope things will still somehow work out okay in the long run. Supposedly she is coming back this weekend, but I don't know exactly WHEN or what day. I'm assuming it won't be Friday night though- since he is available for our date.
But yeah- I might be going out of my head this weekend, wondering what is going on at his house until I hear something from him...
Normally my weekend plans (not) would bore you to tears, but this weekend I actually have someplace to go. My son's wife baby shower is this weekend, so looking forward to it. I hear her belly is really big now.(wanna rub and talk to baby) I bought the big ticket item, so that ought to be good for some oohs and aahs. It should be a lot of fun. My dd went yesterday with her own money and bought a lot of really cute things for the baby, I just thought that was the sweetest thing! Her sibilings were teenagers when she was born, so they are really close in a different kind of a way(more parent like).
