The ex is taking the girls to the beach for four days when I'm NOT working... omg, what am I going to do with myself? LOL
The first thing I did was check Medic's schedule... and of course, thats his weekend with his kids, and since we havn't "gone there" yet, thats a wash.
I guess it'll be spring cleaning time? Lol... wish I could spend the rare time with someone special though :/

I'd have said "If i ever SEE it again, I'll be happy to let you know"
After a while you start to think, "what would happen if I didn't call?"
In those times ( I know it might sound like game playing) I step back and I stop doing the calling and initiating. When BE and I were dating early on, if I found myself calling more than he was, I would just kind of back off from picking up the phone for a while. He would always call me...maybe later than I would have liked, but he would call and never let too much time pass. I guess it is sort of a test, but sometimes you just gotta know that you are not the only one really intersted, right?
I agree. If someone wants a relationship then they should have time to maintain it or accept the fact that the other person is going to branch out and chance losing them.

Also he would call up last minute to do things with me and the kids and I would decline because I'd already made other plans.
Oh gee I am the same way. I have to have my day planned out at least one day prior or have a fairly good idea of what I am doing the next day. I dont do spur of the moment well at all. Funny thing is the day I was meeting EMT for the first time RG called me up that afternoon and asked me out. I just said, 'sorry I have plans'. I didnt tell him what they were though.
I dont think someone should initiate a relationship and then say "oh by the way I dont have much time now to see you, will you stand by and wait for me to finish...". Maybe after the life committment has been made, but not while still dating. Life is too short for that stuff.

Lol- and then there's me: I made plans with three friends for this weekend for S and I to visit... and was like, "Ok... here's the plan.... oh- I hope that's ok... " LOL!
