Can't say that I would date him either...the whole housing thing would be an issue that I would find difficult to over come.

I think you are smart to say no - you have to get what you give or it just doesn't work. You are college educated and you have a lot of class and have worked hard to stay in a nice town. You have put a lot into your career. So, you have to get all that back! Open minded can be good for looks - but not for the bottom line basic stuff that is the same as you.

My rule-of-thumb for online dating is if the woman is "close enough" in me wanting to meet her then I meet her and see what happens.


I do have some baseline criteria such as no smoking, no drugs but insofar as socio-economic, educational criteria
