Well, 1.75 hours and counting. last night I talked to Doug (the new guy I posted the profile of yesterday) for a long time. I really like this guy so far although he doesn't SEEM to be my type in a lot of ways. I will have to see. He almost seems too nice. Like all the rest I am sure he has his bad points. Well, who knows. Maybe I will have NO chemistry with him at all. Anyways. I am just getting a little nervous. Wondering if I am ready for this. But on with the show right? So far I have been able to talk to him very easily and that is good and not something I do with everyone. He seems down to earth and he seems to get passionate about the same things I do. We already have that saying-the-same-thing-at-the-same-time thing going on.....anyways - i just need to ramble and wanted maybe some calmdown vibes? We are meeting for an hour and halfish dinner at Olive Garden. I picked the place. But only because he is from the East side (in detroit there is a main road that comes out and up and one side is the "east side" and the other is the West. I grew up on the East but now live on the edge of the West. TMI? I AM NERVOUS LOL)

Good luck!! You will do fine. Keep it short, simple and sweet. I like your choice of restaurant. Warm and cozy - not too pretentious!!

I figured it would be nice because there is always food in front of you. That way you can have a drink/breadstick at first and then salad and then main course and it gives me something to focus on besides just conversation. The hardest part (although I don' t think this will happen with us) is after you order and then you are just sitting there waiting UGH! So I avoid that with the Olive Garden!

Just a little tip for all you out there :)
