The golfer is going to call

Okay - we all had a little letdown from the lifeguard. So we needed a pick me up on my dating merry-go-round at present.

And my gmail account just provided that for us.

Quick background - cute tall guy, same religion, same town, athletic but into golf (I read that as such that I can be out riding the bike when he gets up to play golf so that is a good thing - LOL!!) and tennis and football - all fun and okay, no kids, doesn't want kids, doesn't mind a lady with kids, nice pic, good job.

Okay - so this dear Golfer has emailed me a few times in the past. He always asks right off the bat on the first email if I want to meet for coffee or a drink. And that puts me off so I delete.

With the new batch of pix, which were done to make the fireman drool and to just have better updated shots, he emailed the same thing again. And I have become more mature in this process and appreciate his nice ways and decided to gently guide him in the right direction. I said, it is great if we meet but usually I like to learn a little bit about the person - although I don't require an epic email dialog - LOL -

So he writes back - good idea - would love to chat by phone. And luckily, unlike our dear friend rlch who hates phone calls with strangers, those put me more at ease. And really with regards to me and rlch - the whole process of OLD is so maddening that you can't blame either one of us for what helps us! OMG.

Okay - so then - since I don't believe in calling a guy - even though he sent his phone number I sent mine.

And meanwhile the wild escapade of the Calvin Klein Model Lifeguard gets us all stirred up and then crashes when I see all the wild pix of women on his site.

So I sent Golfer another message saying here is my phone number incase you didn't see the other message - I cannot find it in my outbox. True.

So now he says - great I will call you tonight.

Stay tuned................

As my dating world turns! LOL!!

Okay - the golfer called. We had a great conversation and he said he will call again so we can meet up for wine or coffee.

Whew Judy! I was on a roller coaster just reading your posts! lol The Lifeguard, a.k.a. Hugh Hefner of the Beach, sounded so good and then you found those pix. You would think a 45 year old man would know better...but then again...he is still a man. lol

Well, I hope the Golfer will turn out to be okay. Maybe he just doesn't know the etiquette involved with OLD. :)

Sounds like you have some interesting prospects there! Good luck with them!
