Okay girls - I have to keep these straight. Here is the latest round - and my attempt at obedience for my own new rule of "keep dating" - many - and casually - don't get stuck on one because you need time to tell if any are good and don't want to get caught up with one too soon only to get disappointed and sad and waste more time. And this is sort of playing a little hard to earn.

1) The golfer - at the top of the pile because he checks so many boxes and lives close by and there are no bad checks. BUT he has to call back for a meeting. That is okay, pal, just don't wait too long because more are pouring in.... LOL!!

2) The swim coach - I joked with him yesterday asking how do I sign up for swim lessons. He has taught a lot of triathletes. And he took it seriously and said that would be great if he could give me swim lessons but there is no need to sign up because he wants to get into triathlons. So this morning I said - fair enough - a trade sounds like fun. And I gave him my cell number if he wants to chat more.

3) The runner - he is a single dad of 3 and is very active, stable in his job and handsome. Lives a little far away.

I thought that was funny - and a way to keep the conversation flowing. Plus I thought it was a funny thing to write to another parent. That is an important thing to have in common.

4) Lifeguard - he is so cute and so nice and so funny. We do have the training in common - I just have to wait and see if he calls and wants to do more.

I like the analogy with the Macy's bargain bin. :) You're right though. I think you have a good list and have prioritized it like a pro! :)

Keep us updated to let us know if the list gets shuffled...or added to! ;)

I think you categorized everyone perfectly. I agree, don't ditch Hugh, just yet, wait a little and see what happens. I do agree that the other 3, seem more of a fit, but then again, you NEVER KNOW. Time will tell. Right? :)

I can relate to the house ordeal. Being in a relationship makes it hard also. :( I can't seem to stay home long enough to get anything done and when I am at home, M is usually planning on coming over, I am studying or I'm just too DARN exhausted. OK!!!!! Just 6 more days to go and then no more worries of coming home to a wreck (girls will be gone). The only wreck I have to blame for is then my own.

If they're pouring in too quickly (oh! that we should all have this problem!) you can 'hide' yourself until you 'work' the ones you have - and get caught up with work.

What a concept - to pick everything up and it all stays clean and put. You are going to be spoiled with 6 weeks of THAT!! For sure :-)

Although DS really only adds a fraction to the mess. He has 2 accomplices that weigh about 130 pounds combined, are furry and like to make messes by the score. Yesterday when I was on the phone with the golfer, they managed to grab the moss and silk ivy out of a tree pot and scatter it from one end of the house to the other.

This morning DS didn't want the toast with jelly before going off to camp - and they got it and ate it on my bed.

Then the little dog goes in the pool at least three times a day and I have to dry him off. Sometimes he runs around and gets dirt stuck to him. It comes off as he dries - so he stays clean - but the floors - NOT! LOL!!

Usually I get up early and vacuum the whole house and then go and work out. But I am out of sorts from the vacation and getting a cold. So no working out today - just work and clean.

I am keeping up with them mostly via the delete key. 10 years older and 40 miles away - DELETE! I don't even read that profile. That is usually the case.

Oh - and your toddler story is good and so true!!

AHA - good for online searches. Runner is OUT - I got his last name from a blackberry email he just sent asking if he could call tonight.

So, I ran a little court search and there is a domestic battery charge and domestic relations charge in his file in addition to the divorce.

So, I said I just found someone else to date - good luck in your search.

BYE BYE!

Always have to do a search. Crazy!
