Had a good 4th and weekend

Wow - it seems that the time from the 4th all the way through the weekend just went by in a blur.

The lifeguard has been calling and texting every day. And we had a date on Friday - watched a great movie and I cooked dinner. And we got to talk - we are planning a biking trip for Friday - he is taking a vacation day to do it. So far so good - we get along really well - but it is all new so we are both pacing it well - not going too fast and not seeing each other too much - it feels just right for me. He spends a lot of time at work, training and seeing his son. And always lets me know what he is doing.

My coach just gave me the toughest week ever coming up so if you don't see me too much it means I am exhausted in a heap somewhere. He also had to time this with the hottest weather I have ever seen here!!

And DS and I had a splendid weekend. We took the dogs to the beach and just had a blast. We swam all day with them. It was so much fun playing fetch in the water. And both dogs are such strong swimmers - they pulled DS all over the place in the water - it was like he had 2 sea horses to carry him!! Somehow we even had our own shady tree too so I didn't have to get too much sun.

And that is pretty much it. Today we are running around to get DS all packed and ready.

I'm glad everything is working out with the lifeguard Judy. :) It sounds like things are moving along at a good pace.

I hear ya on the hot weather! It is going to be 94 today and humid. Yuck! I was spraying weeds in my yard yesterday and was not outside for 2 minutes and the sweat just started rolling off. Whew!

Hope you don't get to exhausted! :)

So what is your feeling about the Lifeguard? Any butterflies? Do you get excited being around him or hearing from him or is it kind of starting to feel more of a friend who you do stuff with? Curious, curious. I KNOW. :)
