Well I did meet the guy from YP for lunch (or more acurately brunch) on Saturday. It was nice He was very polite and the conversation came pretty easily. When we were finishing up he asked me what I was doing that evening. I had no plans and told him so. He said he was meeting some friends for dinner and possibly drinks that evening and asked if I would like to join them. I had a nice time and it sounded like fun so I said sure. Spent the afternoon doing chores and enjoying the beautiful weather. Then as evening approached I was So tired. I really didn't feel up for meeting anyone new. It felt like more of a hang around the house night. I wasn't quite sure what to do. I like him and would like to see him again (first guy that I have been out with that I have wanted to see again). I didn't want him to think I was blowing him off. I decided to just call and be honest. If he didn't believe me or whatever, it didn't matter. I really didn't know him well and really have nothing invested in it. He was very nice and said he wasn't really feeling well either. He is off this week and may call to meet me for lunch. We left it at that. If I hear from him, great (I do think he will call). If I don't hear from him there are plenty more fish in the sea.

The only thing that makes me take pause is that he is single, never been married, and has no children. He is only 34 (I'm 39) but I guess that isn't too big of an age gap. I liked him and would like to see him again. For now I guess that is all that matters.

There are a couple other guys I have been e-mailing so we will see what happens.

HI Priscilla,

I think you are doing great - thinking of yourself and not going crazy with this. All good stuff! I agree that the age difference here is not that important. Keep us posted - and keep up the email with the others, too.
