"Funny when I'm doing my own thing how he wants to spend time with me. LOL LOL."

Yes, I felt the same way this weekend with Bikerguy. People are funny but it confirms what I know in my head...they always want what they can't have, so to speak.

Happy Monday Isysmoon and everyone - what a good idea to ask all of us - it is always fun to hear what everyone was up to!

I had a great weekend - DS had a slumber party on Friday, Saturday I swam with my class and then had a fun date with KarateMan and Sunday I got to ride my bike on a long ride and then spend time with my family - they loved what I cooked.

This morning we slept in and then had to scurry to start the day. LOL!!

Do even dare respond to this one?!??

It was not a good weekend for me here, with emotions running all over the place about losing Mom on the 10th last year, and it being Mother's Day weekend too...

My kids didn't know what to do with me as I spent a bit of time crying for Mom at the cemetery... but I had to go, and I'm hoping it helps with my healing. They know it's because of Grandma... but it just doesn't hit them like it hits me because they are still so young to really feel the loss.

It was enough to make me cancel a day-date with Hiker on Sunday but he insisted on seeing me (I guess to just be with me)... so I agreed to let him come over with some food Sunday evening and watch the Spurs game together. I just was NOT in the mood to go out and do anything all weekend.

Anyway- that dinner was nice. I got the kids to bed somewhere in the middle of it all... and got a good shoulder rub from him during the game. I REALLY needed that!!! My back and shoulders have been so tense from all the stress lately. I need to just find a massage therapist and pay for an hour's worth. I told Hiker that his rubs are great- but he can't keep it going for a whole hour because his hands get tired! I want an HOUR of that!!!

But the stress stuff... I tell ya, my house is gonna make my whole head turn gray. The water heater died sometime yesterday- but I didn't find out until I went to take a shower in the afternoon- and had to turn the cold water side completely OFF just to have enough warm water to do a quick wash! Ugh!!!

But this morning, it's all fixed. Thankfully the plumber could come first thing, and thankfully the plumber had a discontinued and obsolete part left in his truck. So if you have a Whirlpool water heater that still uses a "left-handed thread" with the thermocoupling... better call the Whirlpool people and get a converter sent to you- before your water heater dies and you can't get the parts to fix it! Let me know if you need more info. I'm trying to spread the word, because it would SUCK to find yourself without a water heater for 2 weeks, just waiting for parts that plumbers can't even get. (It's been NUTS) It's only with Whirlpool water heaters, with the old type of thermocoupling.

My foundation will get torn up starting tomorrow morning. That in itself will be an interesting experience. Pray for me that it won't get more and more expensive as the work moves along.

Thanks, Moon!

And I'm really happy to hear about all the great things going in your life, with all the DD's and with SEV! Things just couldn't be more perfect, can they?? I love it when things go so easily and smoothly. You can't help but know that it's RIGHT.

It was a nice weekend, but a whirlwind of activity.
