Happy New Year to ALL

Happy New Year everyone. I hope that today brings everyone and their children many smiles, along with a good year to come!

I met some of my HS friends for dinner and a college bowl football game early yesterday - then we all tired and went our merry ways around 9.

I think I went to bed around 10 - complete with a huge dog underneath of me because he was scared of the fireworks. He is my curly red one - and about 55 pounds so that is no small dog. I said you are too big to be a teddy bear - but he was scared and so I let him sleep with me.

DS is still with his dad and comes home tomorrow.

Tell us what you did for the New Year!

Happy New Year!

NYE we arrived home at 9pm, after flying all day from Italy. We were seriously jet lagged, so we decided to skip all festivities and go to bad. We were so tired we didn't even have to energy to bring the new year in with a bang, lol. We were sound asleep. I slept for 10 hours and got up New Years day totally rested. It was a lesiurly day, unpacking, calling friends and family, and then I went to some friends houses and taked about my trip.

Wishing everyone the best for a fantastic 2008!

Glad to hear everyone had a blast on New Year's Eve....

At first I wasn't gonna do anything but watch the ball drop on tv... my mom went to a party and I didn't have a sitter... But at the last minute she came home early (10:30). She said the old people she partied with went to sleep...lol.... So I had an opportunity to catch a party before midnight....

She brought home noise makers and hats from her party... which by the way, the children are still making lots of noise with....

I had three party invitations (two different coworker parties or karaoke), and picked the karaoke bar party. Familiar faces and friends, i guess. I wasn't looking to find someone to kiss.. just enjoy friends. Then after midnight i invited a few friends back to my house for some spades (the children were fast asleep) Had lots of fun!

(i love the game Catch Phrase, too).

New this year was LOTS of text messages wishing Happy New Year. Technology.

Happy 2008!

Like Pacific, I was flying home with D3 and S16 on NYE. We finally got home around 10:30pm and since D3 was totally out I called M to see if he'd like to join me for a glass of champagne at midnight. Couldn't get a hold of him. He called at 12:15 to wish me Happy New Year. He was the chauffeur for his D15 and a group of friends (including BOYS) as they went to a couple teen parties. The two of us finally got together around 5pm on the first. We were going to go out and see a movie but had trouble finding a place that was open for dinner so we just had dinner and then went to his place for the horizontal Mambo (Shrimpy, you kill me) LOL. Nice way to start the year.
Happy New Year everyone!
