Happy Thanksgiving to all you awesome ladies!

Are you cooking? Yes, almost everything from scratch, except the pies. I ordered them
from a lady who bakes the most awesome things. I'll spend my Friday off resting and spend the weekend eating great leftovers.

What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate cream pie(ordered one-yum!)

White or dark meat? A little bit of both ( I make a super moist bird-if I say so myself)

You are most thankful for.....? My healthy, happy, beautiful kids and my beautiful grandbabies. I will be with all of them on Thansgiving Day, so very grateful for that.
This may be the last year for a while, as my oldest may be moving out of NY.

Happy Thanksgiving All!!

Are you cooking?

>Yes. I'm cooking the bird tonight.... since I'm working tomorrow from 2-6pm. But I'm not making an elaborate meal... just a few essential. And NOT from scratch. Although, I'm looking forward to trying this new Sweet Potato Casserole recipe I found online. It will be me and my 5 children (one of the few times I don't go to a relatives). I'm guessing if I start cooking at 6:30 pm...then we will be staying up late. LOL. Well, what are ya gonna do...

If not where are you going?

What is your favorite dessert?

>pumpkin pie... got one from Sarah Lee.

White or dark meat?

>Dark meat... I'm a novice turkey maker so my white meat is not so moist. I've cooked only 3 birds in my life. The first one was beginners luck and came out very good. The second was a desaster that would NEVER finish... I started at 4 pm and it wasn't done til 1am. Desaster. The third was the charm and came out... So there's no telling what will happen this time.

You are most thankful for.....?

>God's provision. He is my source and I'm thankful that he is always on time. Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving to You, too!

No cooking here, we go to my parents', although I do help my mother with the feast-preparing.
I'm not a cook, in fact, I despise it, which means I'm not a huge fan of Thanksgiving.
My favorite dessert is chocolate pudding pie. Easy, simple, even I can make it!
Not a big meat eater, but white if I must.
Most thankful for my family and friends, of course, and for the fact that I'm almost through the first semester and doing well in school! Yippee!

Moody-happy to have a day off from work and school, even if I do have to bake a pie!

Happy Thanksgiving

Are you cooking? Yes, I'm a total over achiever in that department. Started cooking Tues night, everything from scratch. Making my pies and prepping the stuffing this evening. All this work and it's just my 3 kids, M, and myself. But I only get my kids every other year and they really wanted my usual feast, plus this will be the first time I've really cooked for M.

What is your favorite dessert? My homemade pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkin. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good pie pumpkin this year so it will be canned pumpkin.

White or dark meat? Both, I bard the bird w/ herb butter and cook it in a convection oven, comes out super moist, juicy and aromatic. And a 12-14 lb bird takes about 2 hours (stuffed only w/herbs).

You are most thankful for.....? My 3 great kids, they are the light of my life.
