This Has Never Happened Before

My motto used to be "don't ever rely on a man for anything!" All of my life I have never had a male I could really count on. I did EVERYTHING myself when I was married. The good thing is that I have learned how to take care of problems on my own.

But, my new guy is very mechanical and loves to build or fix things. I had to put my car in the shop this week because the check engine light was on. Turned out it needs new spark plugs and possibly wires. The labor alone to fix it would be $85. Instead of having them fix it, he is going to take care of it this weekend!! I know it seems trivial, but I have never had anybody help me in that capacity! I really think he is a keeper!!

WAY COOL! I love a man that can work on a house and a car. I've also done everything myself and it's a wonderful change when someone wants to take a bit off of your load.

The last time I actually asked for help from a man was last year when I was moving into my new apartment. My best friend's boyfriend was supposed to help and supply the pick up and flatbed trailer. (thats how we move in Texas when you don't have a horsetrailer! lol!) He ended up not showing up and I had to rent a U-Haul at the last minute. It wasn't cheap and we wasted half the day. My brother and my 14-year old son did most of the heavy lifting and busted their butts! I was so mad at him for a very long time!! But, I just let it go!

I would of been LIVID! I had a girlfriend do that to me once! I never forgave her for that! Talk about an EXPENSE I didn't need! UGH!

Sounds like a keeper to me! Ask him if he wants to change the air filter in my car, since I hate getting grease in my nails, and I always end up breaking one!

Just kidding, but DO keep him!
