so, I haven't been posting much lately, but I am still readin the posts....This past Sunday was the one year mark of my DH's death, and I've been in a funk for the past 2 weeks. At first I couldn't figure out why, but then it hit me....the "anniversary" of Aaron's death. I'm starting to come outta my funk now (thank god!) and just really stressed with trying to get all the #$!%&$ boxes outta my house!!!! Mike and I are doing well....adjusting to living together very well, and over all no complaints from me. I LOVE my new house! I'll be back to posting again really soon!

(((HUGS))) I am so sorry you have been feeling down. But, I am glad you are feeling better. I had a very tough time with the anniversary date of my Dad's death for several years. Although I haven't lost a spouse, it did get easier each year. I think the first year was the worst.
Glad everything else is going good and looking forward to reading your future posts. They always make me smile!

Oh Janet ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

You're going through a lot this week, with the new house, the move, living with Mike and then the anniversary of Aaron's death.

His parents seem to be doing well. They spend their summers in Michigan (as they do every year) I talked to his dad on the anniversary of Aaron's death, and he sounded on the verge of tears, but that's to be expected when you lose your son. Day-to-day I think they're fine, but the special occasions get to you...kwim? Same with me....day-to-day I'm all good, but the special occasions suck.....

Hi Janet,

This is very understandable. It is so sad for Hunter and for Aaron's parents. And just a bummer for you because it shook something that should have been to the core.

But we are glad you are still reading and that you are doing so good with Mike, your new place and Hunter now.
