So no child support this week. He called to tell me he moved, but said he would have to give me his address and contact information later. I told him that it was real sad that he didn't come by to see his daughter before he moved. What the &%*^!
Anyway, I am not sure what to do. Child Support Services has all his info, ss#, etc. How long it will take to find him, is a real mystery? I hope not too long. I really need that money.

I am sorry to hear he did that to you and to his child. How did she take it? How soon they find him is hard to say. Does he have a job? Is that why he moved?

Luckily she is only 1 and she really doesn't know him as dad anyway. He moved to live with his girlfriend. While I am glad that he is far from us, he is responsible for his daughter. Supposedly he is going to work for his girlfriend. That should be interesting.

Is your child support filed through the state? If so they will accumulate the arrears and when they do find him they can start garnishing. Is his gf self employed? If he's working for her and she pays him cash then you might be stuck since there won't be anything for them to garnish.

I am sorry you are going through this - it must be scary for you. I hope that he will come through for his dd.

Just a suggestion, you might see if there is some public aid you can get to help out since your CS is stalled.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. I have the same problem with my Ex, she sent Feb's CS on the 25th, but the $400 for childcare was due on te 3rd.

Good luck
